V.C. Patel was born and brought up in a small, tight-knit village in the country of India, where the beats of the ordinary routine were tightly notched with the customs, society, and ethnic principles. He was introduced to an environment, at a tender age, of respect to elders, education and power of unity. The initial experiences were able to give him his vision of the world and a feeling of purposefulness and power.
His search later led him to the other part of the world to the United States, which also had its own fair share of challenges and changes. Patel took up the job of an educator in a new land, and all that surrounded her was unfamiliar and required other practices and norms. He committed himself to help educate and assist students with various backgrounds through his life experiences to encourage understanding, empathize and academic excellence. It is due to the reality that he could adapt and keep close to his origins that saw him gain meaningful relationships and imprint a permanent mark on the lives of the people he taught.
